DayV Business Support has been set up to assist businesses large or small with their Quality and / or Environmental Management Systems (QMS and EMS).

Many businesses today find it too costly to employ sufficient experienced resource to cover all their QMS and EMS needs.

The owner of DayV Business Support is Andrew Davey. Andrew has gained years of experience in a variety of industries and holds applicable qualifications to post graduate level.

Initially trained as a mechanical design engineer in the food packaging and labelling industry he then moved into design of analytical medical instrumentation.

In 1985 Andrew was recruited by a multinational Telecoms company as a significant part of the Quality and Training function to help set up a >£100m facility.

When the Telecoms Company was up and running, having moved into the volume production phase, he moved on to a company designing and manufacturing safety systems for the oil industry.

Following this, for 15 years, Andrew then managed the quality at a leading UK engineering company designing and manufacturing electric motors. In this position Andrew mentored the company to gain ISO and UL certification, drove Continuous Improvement and travelled internationally (including the Far East) to liaise with customers and suppliers.

This has resulted in a rounded wealth of knowledge and experience with which to support YOUR business whether requiring ISO implementation, guidance or additional resource.
